Remodeling Carpenter Application

R.J. Tilley is looking for highly-skilled, detail-oriented Residential Remodeling Carpenters. We want people who are dedicated to quality work and building relationships with the customers they serve. Our company is family-owned and we work as a team. Salary: $18-$25 an hour, plus bonuses

Job Requirements:

• We are looking for skilled carpenters with 5+ years of experience
• The ideal candidate has a strong carpentry background in remodeling. (Skills: cabinet installation, trim work, and strong sheetrock skills)
• Must have own hand tools fit for many jobs. R.J. Tilley provides all the other tools you need for the job
• Excellent customer communication skills required
• Must have a clean driving record and current driver’s license
• Must be friendly with a good attitude and clean appearance
• The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and delivers a great product each time

Additional Requirements:

• Understanding of all remodeling construction
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
• Neat, clean and professional appearance.
• Safety and customer service oriented.
• Enjoys providing great customer service.
• Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
